These iconic Cartier Vintage Byzantine wrap earrings are crafted in 18k yellow gold and set with faceted rubies, sapphires, and emerald. The Byzantine motif was designed by Louis Cartier during his trip to Russia in the early part of the 20th century, providing inspiration for the St. Petersburg jewelry collection. Can be worn as a pendant or a brooch and comes with an adjustable black cord. Made in France circa 1990s.
